Don Doyle

As chair of the Queensborough Parent Advisory Council until June 30, longtime New Westminster resident Don Doyle brings proven parent advocacy and a strong voice for Queensborough families to his campaign for school trustee. As school trustee, he will champion safe schools, sustainable transportation, responsible spending and practical solutions to school capacity challenges.

Don Doyle is chair of the Queensborough Parent Advisory Council until June 30 and a longtime New Westminster resident who brings proven parent advocacy, community leadership and budget experience to the role of school trustee. A strong voice for Queensborough families, he has advocated for sustainable school bus service so students can get to school safely and without long commutes that affect their education.

Don is committed to working with students, parents, teachers and the community to address overcrowding, school safety and the need for more school space in a growing city. He brings a practical, community-focused approach to making sure New Westminster families are heard in local and provincial decisions.

Don has worked for the City of Burnaby’s Parks and Recreation Department as a programmer and has served as an associate fundraiser with United Way. He would bring a professional approach to ensuring education tax dollars are spent effectively and that New Westminster families are represented in decisions made locally and provincially.
