Anita Dunn

Born, raised and educated in New Westminster, Anita Dunn brings a parent’s perspective, financial expertise and small business experience to her campaign for school trustee. As school trustee, she will champion fair funding, responsible use of public dollars and practical solutions for families facing overcrowding, underfunding and transportation challenges.
  • Born at Royal Columbian Hospital, raised in New Westminster and educated at New Westminster Secondary School.
  • New Westminster parent of a 15-year-old Salmonbellie attending NWSS.
  • Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and CPA, CGA designation.
  • Ten years of accounting and finance experience with a Crown corporation.
  • Owned and operated Mila + Paige, a downtown New Westminster clothing boutique, for eight years.
  • Served for six years as treasurer of the Downtown New West Business Improvement Association.
  • Active supporter of local music, arts and community events.
  • Focused on fair funding, responsible use of public dollars and practical support for families facing overcrowding and transportation challenges.
I was born, raised and educated here, and now as a New Westminster parent I want to bring financial care and real-life experience to decisions that affect our students and families.

Anita Dunn brings together the perspective of a New Westminster parent, local graduate, financial professional and small business owner. Born at Royal Columbian Hospital, raised in New Westminster and educated at New Westminster Secondary School, Anita is now the mother of a 15-year-old Salmonbellie attending NWSS.

Anita has firsthand experience with the challenges facing students, educators and parents – overcrowding, underfunding, and the future of school bus service between Queensborough and NWSS. As a trustee, she will advocate for fair funding and ensure public dollars are used effectively to support students and families.

Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a CPA, CGA designation. She spent 10 years in accounting and finance with a Crown corporation before opening Mila + Paige, a downtown New Westminster clothing boutique she operated for eight years. She also served as treasurer of the Downtown New West Business Improvement Association for six years and remains active in local music, arts and community events.
